‘Paychecks for Patriots’ job fair is Thursday in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Veterans seeking work are invited to take part Thursday in a “Paychecks for Patriots” hiring fair. The fairs will be hosted across Tennessee, with the local event taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus Wilder Student Union, located at 705 Lambuth Boulevard in Jackson, according to the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development website. The events will be held in nine locations across the state representing more than 200 veteran-friendly employers.
