EAST JACKSON — Jackson police temporarily closed Muse Park Thursday afternoon as they searched the area for the second day in a row. Sgt. Derick Tisdale, public information officer with the department, confirmed their Criminal Investigation Division was back on scene to follow up on Wednesday’s investigation to ensure the body they were looking for was not in the park. A dive team and a robot were on scene Thursday searching the park’s pond and surrounding areas, according to Tisdale. Police shut down the popular park in east Jackson Wednesday afternoon as part of an investigation of what they said was a possible suicide.
