Union City police seek men in robbery, assault

UNION CITY, Tenn. — Police are looking into an aggravated robbery, pistol whipping and beating after the victim shows up at a local hospital. At the emergency room, the victim told police Vernon Cotton pushed him to the ground and that Marcus Taylor struck him with a pistol. A police report says six or seven men then joined in the attack. Warrants currently are out for Cotton and Taylor.
