Discovery Park of America celebrates 500,000th visitor

UNION CITY, Tenn. — The 500,000th visitor walked through the doors of the Discovery Park of America Saturday afternoon. With a celebration, park CEO Jim Rippy welcomed guests Ashleigh Hartman, Shane Hartman and their son, Logan. The Discovery Park boasts more than 70,000 square feet of exhibits and focuses on nature, science, history, technology and art.
