Discovery Park of America celebrates its 500,000th visitor

UNION CITY, Tenn. — The 500,000th visitor walked through the doors of the Discovery Park of America Saturday afternoon. With a celebration, CEO of the park, Jim Rippy, welcomed guests Ashleigh Hartman, Shane Hartman, and their son Logan. The Discovery Park boasts more than 70,000 square feet of exhibits and focuses on nature, science, history, technology, and art.
