Deadline approaching to apply for Tenn. Promise funds
JACKSON, Tenn. — There’s less than a month left for high school seniors to apply for Tennessee Promise, the governor’s free tuition program. The upcoming deadline to apply is Nov. 2. The governor says more than 15,000 students who graduated from high school in May are using Tennessee Promise benefits this fall. That’s a 14 percent increase in community college attendance.
