Discovery Park hosts Sgt. Alvin York exhibit

UNION CITY, Tenn. — Discovery Park of America is hosting a new exhibit showcasing the life of World War I hero Sgt. Alvin York. The York exhibit gives viewers a first-hand perspective into what it was like during the war. One thing that surprises most attendees is the price — it’s free with admission to the park. “I think it’s wonderful that it’s free,” said Jennifer Wildes, collections manager for Discovery Park. “Being such a big place, it’s great to be able to give the public something new.”
