WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — Fire Prevention Week wrapped up with a big bang in Weakley County, literally. Greenfield hosted their 27th annual Fire Prevention Festival to end fire prevention week. A week of food, fun, and fire safety, Saturday the festival hosted a parade with trucks from the Greenfield Fire Department, Jackson Fire Department, and other West Tennessee Fire Stations. “It’s all about safety and I’m very proud and honored the state Fire Marshall was here and he says it’s one of the biggest events he sees for fire prevention across the state and it made me very proud,” Greenfield Fire Chief Bob Dudley said.
