Man, 2 teens charged in Dyersburg burglary

DYERSBURG, Tenn. — A man and two juveniles are facing charges after a burglary early Sunday at a Dyersburg apartment complex. Eric Gardner, 24, and two male juveniles all are charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary, according to the Dyersburg Police Department. Police say they got a call just before 6 a.m. about a robbery in progress at McIver Manor Apartments on Tucker Street. Witnesses gave police a description of suspects who had left in a vehicle. Officers say they spotted the suspect vehicle nearby and made a traffic stop. The three suspects were in the in vehicle along with two shotguns in plain view, according to police. Gardner is being held at the Dyersburg Law Enforcement Center pending an appearance in Dyersburg City Court. The two juveniles were housed at the McDowell Center.
