THP identifies man killed in Camden wreck

CAMDEN, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol has identified a man killed Tuesday in a Benton County crash. Tony Brotherton, 53, of Bruceton was killed when the Freightliner truck he was driving collided with a pickup truck around 12:30 p.m., according to a THP release. The pickup truck was traveling east on Highway 70 and attempted to make a left turn in front of the westbound truck Brotherton was driving, according to the THP. Brotherton’s truck struck the passenger side of the pickup, according to the release. The other driver is listed as injured, but there is no word on the extent of his injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the release states.
