BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — The annual Hatchie Fall Fest now has a new addition to the festivities. This year’s festival will now feature a new amphitheater. According to Mayor Bill Rawls, the new amphitheater was built in about 90 days and will be able to showcase a variety of musical talent. “What we’re creating here is a musical amphitheater. It’s going to be a venue for live music, family events and it’s right here on our court square,” Mayor Rawls said. Aside from musical events, the festival will include a wide variety of activities for all ages. One of the main attractions to the event is the food. “We have a lot of great food that’s going to be here this year,” said event organizer Sonia Outlaw-Clark. “Everything from pigtails to gator on a stick to fried green tomatoes.” The Hatchie Fall Fest will take place from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.
