Local family welcomes bald eagles to neighborhood

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A Madison County family has a new — and unusual — neighbor. Lonnie and Danna Cobb came home Friday afternoon to find one of their neighbors taking a picture of two bald eagles in the backyard. The Cobbs said the eagles have come and gone from the property for years. “We think our 3-pound Yorkie is the one that discovered them before we did,” Danna Cobb said. “We think she has a sixth sense that something is not right in the yard!” The Cobbs built their new house on the property over the past year and a half and were unsure if the eagles would come back.
