Portion of Carriage House Drive closed to traffic

JACKSON, Tenn. — If you rely on Carriage House Drive in north Jackson as part of your daily commute, you’ll need a new route starting Wednesday. A portion of the road, which connection North Highland Ave. and the Hwy 45 Bypass, will be temporary closed to through traffic starting at 7 a.m., Wednesday, according to the city Engineering Department. All lanes will be closed between 518 and 541 Carriage House Dr. City officials said local traffic to all businesses in that area will remain open. Not date has been given for when the closure will end. A detour will be posted in the meantime.
