New Goodwill opens in north Jackson

NORTH JACKSON, Tenn. — A new Goodwill Thrift store in north Jackson has officially opened its doors. The new location on Vann Drive hosted its grand opening ceremony Tuesday morning. Hundreds of shoppers lined up outside the building before the doors opened. Goodwill said the 23,000-square-foot facility features a massive sales floor, skylights, and a covered drive-through Donations Express Center. Goodwill said about 40 employees will work in the new building. A company spokesperson said the new store on Vann Drive will replace the previous north Jackson location on Carriage House Drive.
