American Cancer Society hosts breast cancer walk
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Many gathered at The Ballpark at Jackson for the American Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer 5-K walk. The event hosted hundreds of attendees. Many walked the from Jackson General Park to Ridgecrest Rd. Participants said it’s an event of importance. “I came out because it’s a great cause. Anytime that we can walk and come together for a great purpose. It makes us feel better as a community and we can give back,” Tawanika McKinney said. The route then looped back around to the ballpark where participants were cheered on as they crossed the finish line.
