Trenton school leader named Principal of Year for division

TRENTON, Tenn. — A West Tennessee educator has been named principal of the year for the West Grand Division by the Tennessee Department of Education. Tim Haney, principal of Peabody High School in the Trenton Special School District, was recognized with the honor. The award recognizes administrators who have helped provide educational opportunities for Tennessee students through their leadership, programs and vision. Haney was among nine principals selected as regional finalists after being nominated by peers.
