Boys & Girls Club ‘Windows of Hope’ campaign is under way

JACKSON, Tenn. — The race to raise tens of thousands of dollars for the Boys & Girls Club of Jackson began Thursday night. The annual Windows of Hope campaign is now officially under way. The event kicked off this year with $23,950 raised. You can track the progress of the effort simply by looking at the windows of the West Tennessee Healthcare building on the Highway 45 Bypass. The money raised to light the windows through the end of the year goes to help fund such things as after school programs for kids here in the Hub City. “We want them to know that our kids need them, and we want to get in the holiday spirit,” said Sabrina Anderson, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Jackson. “And we want them to be able to share that Jackson is a giving community, and I know — I can see it through people who come in the organization.” To learn more about the Windows of Hope campaign and how to donate, look for the link in the Seen on 7 section of our website.
