Weather Update – 4:15 p.m. Monday
After record breaking temperatures and wind gusts between 30 and 40 miles per hour last night, calmer and more seasonal weather is starting to return to West Tennessee. We won’t get to experience the typical cold weather we get this time of the year until the end of the week. Another cold front will move into the region on Wednesday returning the chance for scattered showers.
Tonight will be a cool night with temperatures dropping to the upper 30s and low 40s by sunrise Tuesday. Patchy fog will be possible tomorrow morning before burning off to reveal clearer skies. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s tomorrow afternoon.
A cold front will move through West Tennessee on Wednesday returning the chance for rain. Scattered showers will be possible from the later morning into the evening. Generally, less than half an inch is expected. High temperatures will only be in the mid to upper 40s and low 50s Thursday through Saturday. Warmer weather returns early next week.
Have a great night!
