Hundreds attend Lexington Christmas parade
LEXINGTON, Tenn.-Bright lights and loud noises brought the spirit of Christmas to Henderson County, Monday night.
Fire trucks, floats and marching bands made their way through the town for the annual Lexington Christmas Parade as the young and young at heart looked on.
Every family has their own reason for coming out, but for some, the parade has become a holiday tradition.
“Coming with family and getting to see all the Christmas decorations,” said Wendy Eitleman, one of the many parade spectators.
“Seeing all the police cars and the fire trucks and stuff like that, ’cause I used to come with my family when I was little when I used to come see it,”said Brian Miness, another parade-goer.
“I’m just glad I get to come out. I try to come out every year, said Stephanie Thompson, another parade spectator.
Hundreds lined the streets for the sights and sounds of the parade including a visit from Santa Claus.
