James Baxter withdraws from property assessor race
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — James Baxter has withdrawn as a candidate for assessor of property.
Baxter, who also ran for mayor of Jackson in the last election in May, withdrew his candidacy for property assessor before the deadline, which is at noon Thursday, according to the Madison County Election Commission.
