Postal Service set to deliver 30M packages on busiest day of year
JACKSON, Tenn. — Monday was the busiest day of the year for those trying to send mail and packages to loved ones for Christmas.
The Postal Service says they planned to deliver 30 million packages Monday, which also is the last day to send items through priority mail and get them there on time.
Officials say it’s important to know when your packages arrive at your doorstep to keep from porch poaching.
To ensure your mail makes it to its destination by Christmas, officials say to send it by priority express, which is guaranteed delivery or your money back.
