WEATHER UPDATE

HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING INTO THE REGION TODAY WILL PROVIDE DRY CONDITIONS WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE 60S TO NEAR 70 FOR HIGHS.  A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP TO THE WEST OF THE REGION TUESDAY AND AN ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING WITH A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AS TUESDAY HIGHS ARE AGAIN IN THE 60S.

CONDITIONS WILL BE DRIER AND COOLER ON WEDNESDAY AHEAD OF ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM THAT WILL BRING RAIN CHANCES TO THE REGION FOR THURSDAY.  DRIER CONDITIONS WILL RETURN BY LATE IN THE WEEK AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND.  TEMPERATURES WILL GENERALLY BE COOLER THAN NORMAL MID THROUGH LATE WEEK BUT WILL REBOUND TO BE WARMER THAN NORMAL FOR THE FIRST WEEKEND OF MARCH.
