Weather Update – 10:00 p.m. Tuesday
Temperatures are much cooler now than they were this time yesterday, but all signs seem to be pointing to a significant warm up in the not-to-distant future. Just look at the outlook for where our temperatures stand next week!
In the meantime, it’s still chilly across West Tennessee. The cold front that came through today is well to our east with clearing skies overhead. Skies will stay mostly clear until tomorrow evening before rain returns on Thursday. Tonight, under mainly clear skies, temperatures will drop to the upper 20s and low 30s by sunrise at 6:24. We’ll be under plenty of sunshine tomorrow with light winds and a relatively cool day. Temperatures are expected to peak in the upper 40s and low to middle 50s at the warmest point of the day.
Another chance for rain is forecast for Thursday with low pressure moving through the region. Warmer weather will begin to return to West Tennessee this weekend with a chance for temperatures to get back into the 60s on Saturday and Sunday. Next week it’s even possible that we see temperatures in the 70s!
