Local songwriters’ tune aims to help ‘Keep Tennessee Beautiful’

JACKSON, Tenn. — A song recorded in the Hub City will now be used to encourage Tennesseans to keep the state looking great.

Keep Tennessee Beautiful

The song “You, Me and Tennessee” was originally recorded at Jaxon Records and produced by Chuck Freeman. The version used by the Keep Tennessee Beautiful campaign was written by Mickey Utley (local musician from Brownsville), Jimmy Craig, Mike Williams and Chuck Freeman.

Wes Henley, owner of Highland House Productions, remastered the song and did additional tracking, including additional guitar tracking, for the version used by Keep Tennessee Beautiful.
