Union will be the South Region’s top seed and host for the second straight season.

In just their second season as postseason eligible in the NCAA DII, Union will be once again hosting the South Region Tournament March 11, 12 and 14 at Fred DeLay Gymnasium.

Union will play Friday, March 11 at 5:00 p.m.versus Tampa (Fla.). The game will be a rematch of the second game of the season for Union, a 59-56 win at Tampa.

Union is 28-3 on the season and is coming off a third GSC Regular Season title in four years. Union failed on repeating at GSC Tournament Champions in a 69-63 overtime loss to Delta State last week. Delta State is the only other GSC team in the South Region field, coming in at No. 3.
