Mississippi flags at half-staff in honor of Nancy Reagan

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) – Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant has ordered all state flags be flown at half-staff in honor of Nancy Reagan.

The former first lady and wife of President Ronald Reagan died Sunday of congestive heart failure. She was 94.

Bryant signed an executive order that flags on all state buildings and grounds be flown at half-staff. The flags were lowered Monday morning and will stay at half-staff until sunset on Friday, the day of her interment.
