WEATHER UPDATE

AN UPPER LEVEL LOW OVER THE SOUTHERN PLAINS AND A STALLING FRONT OVER MISSOURI WILL BE THE FOCUS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE MID-SOUTH BEGINNING LATER TODAY AND PERSISTING INTO THE UPCOMING WEEKEND.  HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS EAST AND NORTHEAST ARKANSAS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.  TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN MILD THROUGH THE PERIOD WITH HIGHS AROUND 70 EACH DAY WITH LOWS IN THE 50S AND 60S.  RAIN CHANCES WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH BY LATE NEXT WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK AS THE UPPER LEVEL LOW DEPARTS THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY.
