Woman accused of thefts from beauty supply stores

JACKSON, Tenn.-A woman is now facing charges after a 3-month span of alleged thefts at numerous Jackson beauty supply stores.

Lakita Davis is facing seven counts of theft after an alleged spree of cosmetic supply thefts between November and January…the latest at Ulta Beauty on Vann Drive. She is accused of concealing $650 worth of fragrances before fleeing the store.

Surveillance video captured the alleged incident and Davis was later identified in a police lineup by an employee.

Davis is being held at the Madison County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
