WEATHER UPDATE

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR A PORTION OF WEST TENNESSEE AND NORTH MISSISSIPPI UNTIL SATURDAY AFTERNOON.  MORE RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP TODAY AS A LOW  PRESSURE SYSTEM LIFTS NORTHEASTWARD OUT OF THE GULF OF MEXICO.  FLOODING ON RIVERS AND CREEKS WILL REMAIN A CONCERN AND FLASH FLOODING MAY ALSO BE A THREAT.  CHANCES FOR RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN IN THE FORECAST THROUGH MONDAY.  ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
