Weather Update – 5:00 p.m. Wednesday

It’s been a beautiful day with high temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s on this Wednesday. However, even cooler temperatures are forecast for the weekend ahead with a good chance that we don’t see 60° on the thermometer Saturday or Sunday. Warmer weather comes back next week though.

It could be a chilly night across West Tennessee! Most of the computer models are suggesting 40s but I  see a real potential for some areas to get into the upper 30s tonight. Expect clear skies and light winds overnight

Tomorrow will be a lot like today if maybe just slightly cooler. We’ll have a sunny Saint Patrick’s Day with rain-free conditions.

There will be a slight chance for rain Friday evening that increases as we head into Saturday when scattered showers will be more likely. Temperatures could start out near freezing early Sunday and Monday morning bringing a potential for a frost. Next week, temperatures will start to warm up again before a better chance for rain returns Wednesday into Thursday. Stay with the VIPIR 7 storm team for the latest forecast!
