The sheriff’s office got the call just after 6 p.m., and crews responded to the 400 block of Sanders Bluff Road, according to Mapes.

Firefighters began dragging the pond around 6:30 p.m., and Mapes said they recovered Glenn’s body around 8 p.m.

Glenn reportedly was not wearing a life vest.

Mapes said the drowning appears to have been accidental and that Glenn’s body was transported to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
