New officer joins Hattiesburg Police Department
HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) – The Hattiesburg Police Department has added another officer to the ranks.
WDAM-TV reports Zach Robinson was sworn in by Mayor Johnnyh DuPree during brief ceremony at city hall Monday.
Robinson began at the police department in 2004, left in 2007 and has now returned and will start in the patrol division.
Lt. Jon Traxler says his addition brings the department’s total number of officers to 95.
