Union University graduates one of largest classes
JACKSON, Tenn. — Hundreds of graduates moved their tassels today in one of the largest classes to graduate Union University.
More than 700 graduated Saturday on the great lawn on Union’s campus.
Doctor Jerry Johnson, president of the National Religious Broadcasters, was the keynote speaker, encouraging students to become builders of society.
“As you go out dream the dream and live that dream to the end. End well knowing this,” Dr. Johnson said in his speech.
He also encouraged the new graduates to get started as soon as possible, not waiting for success but beginning their journey tomorrow.
