Mr. Baseball goes to Ryan Rolison
JACKSON, Tenn — It came as no surprise when USJ’s Ryan Rolison was named the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association DII-A Mr. Baseball for 2016.
Rolison made nine starts on the year, winning everyone. On the year he pitched 58 innings, struck out 108 and only allowed 10 hits and three runs.
Rolison said, “It’s a great way to end off my high school career, after we didn’t make it to state.”
“It helps get the sour taste out of my mouth from our last game.”
Ryan has not made a decision whether he will attend Ole Miss in the fall or go to the Major Leagues if drafted, but he finished his high school career with some great accolades.
