Join us as we continue our tradition of the Cardboard Boat Regatta on
the South Lake on Saturday, May 28!

Boats will begin loading at 9:00 AM
Races will begin at 11:00 AM

MILITARY LIVING HISTORY DAYS MAY 28TH-30TH

Military Living History Days
May 28-30

Discovery Park of America is happy to have Military Living History
Days on Memorial Day Weekend and will be OPEN on Memorial Day, May 30.
There will be several events going on throughout the weekend centered
around remembering those soldiers who fought in WWII, Korea, Vietnam
and the Gulf War. Different modern vehicles and engineering equipment
will be on display for guests to see, as well as weapon demonstrations
and reenactors. Make a fun day at the park this weekend with the
family and check out Military Living History Days while you are here!

Schedule of events for Military Living History Days:
Saturday, May 28

Weapon and firing demonstrations at 1:30 and 3:30 on the Great Lawn

Sunday, May 29

Field Worship Service under the parachute at 10:30 AM on the Great Lawn
Weapon and firing demonstrations at 1:30 and 3:30 on the Great Lawn

Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day)

FREE admission for Military, Veterans, and Immediate Family
There will be a Memorial Day Service held at 2:00 PM in the ATA Room
inside Discovery Center
All tickets $10.00 plus tax

LIBATION STATION MAY 26TH – 28TH

LIBATION STATION IS BACK ON TRACK!
OPEN 5:00 p.m. UNTIL 9:00 p.m.

Summer is near, and Libation Station is here!
Libation Station is on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at The
Depot at Discovery Park of America! Admission to Libation Station is
free, and the walking track and lake are open for the guests to walk
and fish!

Discovery Park of America will be OPEN on Memorial Day!
May 30, 2016 from 10 AM to 5 PM

All active military, veterans, and their dependents get in free on
Memorial Day! All other tickets are just $10, plus tax.

Military Living History Days will continue on Memorial Day with
reenactors, firing demonstrations, and other historical events that
will remind guests about the wars fought and the lives lost for our
country. Guests will learn more about World War II, Korea, Vietnam and
the Gulf War. There will also be a special Memorial Day Service at
2:00 PM in the ATA Room located inside Discovery Center.
