Boy with rare disorder swims solo for the first time
UNION CITY, Tenn.-A West Tennessee boy’s dreams come true after a generous donation from the community.
Hudson Hayes is a six-year-old with a rare form of skeletal dysplasyia syndrome.
The disorder causes his bones to be soft, making it extremely difficult for him to walk on his own.
The only time Hudson can play without restriction is in a swimming pool.
The Hayes family shared a video with WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News of the young boy splashing around on Sunday. This is the first time Hudson has swam on his own in his newly donated pool, according to his parents.
