David Fizdale announced as the head coach
MEMPHIS, Tenn — The Memphis Grizzlies announced their new head coach in a press conference Tuesday afternoon. David Fizdale, a former assistant for the Miami Heat has taken over the team and already has high hopes.
“The goal is to win a title, no doubt about it,” Fizdale said. “With the pieces that we have, and the pieces that we’re going to put together. With us working together, in this collaboration. I see no reason why we won’t have that opportunity to take that run.”
The Beale street Bears have made the playoffs the past six seasons, only reaching the conference finals once. With a new coach, healthy players and new additions, the team is even closer to making a deep playoff run.
