3 sentenced in connection to fatal beating of woman
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Three people have been sentenced in Clarksville in connection with a fatal beating of a woman they called their “house slave.”
The Leaf Chronical (http://leafne.ws/1TXJHzh ) reports that Cynthia Skipper, Derek Vicchitto and Alphonso Richardson II were all given maximum sentences Tuesday.
Skipper was sentenced to 25 years for especially aggravated kidnapping and two years for criminally negligent homicide. She is accused of ordering her roommates to tie up and beat the victim, Shirley Beck, in 2014.
Vicchitto, Skipper’s fiance, was sentenced to 12 years on a murder charge and 25 years for the especially aggravated kidnapping. Richardson was sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder to be followed by 25 years for especially aggravated kidnapping.
Beck was found dead hanging from the ceiling in a living room.
