Head-on crash in north Jackson sends 2 to hospital
NORTH JACKSON — A Thursday afternoon crash on a busy north Jackson street sent two drivers to the hospital.
The wreck happened just after 2 p.m. when a Mitsubishi car traveling northbound along Stonebridge Boulevard crossed the center line and struck a Dodge SUV head-on, according to Jackson police.
Officers say the driver of the Mitsubishi, a 57-year-old woman, was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
The driver of the SUV, a 42-year-old woman, was transported with non life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The crash is under investigation.
