Hit and miss showers are expected again Monday

Weather Update: 9:00 PM Sunday

Current temps are still in the upper 70s to low 80s and it’s a muggy night. Still have mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies. Some of those clouds are looking to break up a bit as we go overnight. Some light lingering showers are all slowly coming to and end but we are not done with the rain chances just yet. More rain is expected off and on this week.

Tonight, skies will still see passing clouds and the chance for maybe an isolated rain shower. It’s likely that we see some patchy fog, especially in low lying area and along flat farm fields. Overnight conditions stay warm and muggy with temps in the low to mid 70s.

Tomorrow an approaching cold front will keep the chance for more showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. We aren’t looking at widespread rain showers, it’ll be more pop-up and scattered across the area. Not every will see rain at the same time this week because hit or miss conditions are expected. Temps are looking to remain seasonal to start the week and with the humidity it’s still going to feel hot. Afternoon highs look to reach back into the upper 80s and low 90s.
