Red Cross in need of blood donations

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Across the state and across the country, the American Red Cross needs help.

This week, organizers behind the Red Cross put out an emergency request for blood donations amid a particularly strong summer shortage.

A Facebook post says the group only has a five-day supply on hand.
