Man charged with attempted murder of family member

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police make an arrest in the triple shooting that sent three people to the hospital Wednesday night.

Fredricus Williams is  charged with attempted murder of his cousin at a  home on Oakridge Drive.

According to court papers, Williams and his mother went to his cousins house and confronted him.  Williams’ mother is accused of sparking a shoot out.

Police said the homeowner was shot twice in the head, once by his aunt and once by Williams.

Williams faces an additional firearms count. He is expected to make his first court appearance Monday.
