Former USM dance team captain, boyfriend killed
BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (AP) – Bay St. Louis police say officers investigating a report of a missing person found two bodies and a wounded baby.
Coroner Jim Faulk says 28-year-old Kristina Quintini and 29-year-old Norris Demeteris Mueller Jr. were shot to death.
Police Chief Michael DeNardo tells WLOX-TV that Quintini’s 6-month-old baby was injured, and is being treated at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.
Leighanne Lockhart Rouse tells The Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/2anRasd ) that Quintini and she were among the Southern Mississippi University dance team co-captains in 2010.
The newspaper reports that Quintini majored in sports management, and that she and her boyfriend were killed.
