Jackson man accused in stabbing appears in court

JACKSON, Tenn.-A Jackson man charged in a July stabbing in west Jackson, returned to court, Thursday.

Seth Clayton appeared before the judge for less than a minute as he waived his right to a preliminary hearing on a charge of aggravated assault. This allows his case to go to the November Madison County grand jury.

Clayton is accused of stabbing a man in July at the Old Hickory Inn on the Highway 45 Bypass.
He remains jailed in lieu of $5,000 bond.
