Kenton appoints new mayor
KENTON, Tenn.-The town of Kenton officially has a new mayor.
Danny Jowers, former vice mayor and EMA director for Obion County, was appointed as mayor at this week’s city board meeting.
Jowers acted as interim mayor during Mayor Virginia Davidson’s illness, before she passed away, earlier this summer, following complications from surgery.
