Overturned dump truck slows traffic at Highland, Vann intersection

UPDATE — The truck has been turned upright as of around 4:45 p.m. as crews continue to clear the scene.

NORTH JACKSON — An overturned dump truck is stalling traffic at the intersection of North Highland Avenue and Vann Drive in north Jackson.

The truck, which was carrying gravel, overturned in the roadway. The call went out around 3:15 p.m.

The truck driver was reportedly taken to a hospital but is expected to be OK.

Crews are still working to clear gravel from the road.
