Accused gunman in death of TBI agent to undergo evaluation
JACKSON, Tenn. — The man charged in the death of Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Special Agent De’Greaun Frazier returned to court Thursday.
Brenden Burns appeared for what was supposed to be his preliminary hearing. Instead, a forensic or mental evaluation was ordered.
Burns faces a count of murder in the perpetration of attempted aggravated robbery, a charge that could carry the death penalty.
His next court date has not been set.
