Biker event Saturday in Trenton will benefit baby with heart condition

TRENTON, Tenn. — A local community is coming together for a baby boy born with a severe heart condition.

More than 200 bikers have signed up to ride through Trenton on Saturday for baby Taelon Powell.

The event will begin at VFW post 4798 in Trenton starting at noon. They’ll also have a live auction, food and t-shirts available for sale.

“Our ride is going to kick-start up at 12:30 p.m.,” coordinator Scott Baldwin said. “We expect to be back by 3:30 p.m. Live auction is going to be from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. We’re going to auction off all the items plus great door prizes and food.”

All the money raised Saturday will go to the Powell family for medical expenses and travel costs.
