Police: 1 injured in shooting at East Jackson Apartment complex

JACKSON,Tenn.– Jackson police say a man is in critical, but stable condition after being shot in the upper body Sunday evening.

Police say the shooting happened near the 600 building of the Park Ridge apartments.

Investigators say the call went out around 8 p.m.

According to the shift commander, police are looking for a possible male suspect described as a black man in his early twenties, last seen wearing a white shirt.

Police said the suspect took off running toward North Parkway.
