Annual martial arts seminar held in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — “Unity among warriors” was the theme of this year’s gathering of martial artists in West Tennessee.

All day Saturday, martial arts instructors from across the country shared their fighting style with the group. The event organizer says this event is for people with different styles, experience levels and to showcase the styles available in West Tennessee.

“This is a coming together of martial artists who are continuously practicing traditional styles of martial arts that have been around for centuries, coming together in the name of unity, friendship and networking,” Sensei Sherwin Moore said.

This year was the largest turnout of martial artists since the seminar started seven years ago.
